Terms of Use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") before using JungleXchange (the "Service"), which today means Filter Jungle, Order Jungle, the JungleXchange Home Companion and the Milo Second Look. By using the Service, you agree to them.
1. What the Service is
You photograph an HVAC filter. We read the size and filtration rating printed on it, ask whether it fits and what you want better filtration to help with, and give you a specification — or tell you honestly that we cannot establish one. Order Jungle then looks for a product matching that specification at a merchant. We do not hold inventory or ship, and filter and equipment recommendations are free. Any purchase you make from a merchant is between you and that merchant, on their terms. We do sell one optional service of our own — the Milo Second Look, described in section 11.
Filter Jungle is open to anyone. Use of it is still subject to the limits described here.
2. How the recommendation is produced
A language model reads the text in your photograph. It decides nothing. The recommendation itself is produced by deterministic code from three things: the specification we could verify, the two answers you give, and any manufacturer documentation we hold for your equipment. The same inputs always produce the same answer.
There are five possible outcomes, and two of them decline to recommend anything:
- Keep your current filter — the evidence does not justify a change, or you told us you mainly want a replacement.
- Consider a higher rating — only when manufacturer documentation actually supports that level for your system.
- A higher rating may be worth considering — relevant to what you asked for, but we have not verified your system can accommodate it. This is explicitly not a recommendation and never reaches a buying option.
- We need one more thing — we tell you the single smallest next step.
- We cannot verify this — when evidence contradicts itself, we say so rather than choosing between the possibilities.
Where we suggest a level, it comes from published residential filtration guidance (EPA), carried together with the fact that higher-efficiency filters restrict airflow more (ASHRAE). Both are cited on screen. Nothing you tell us about your household can raise a filtration rating on its own — there is no rule in our system that turns "pets" into a number.
3. What this is not
It is not an inspection of your heating and cooling system, a measurement of airflow or static pressure, an HVAC professional's advice, or a medical or health claim of any kind. We do not claim a filter treats, prevents or relieves any condition. A filter that restricts airflow beyond what your equipment was designed for can harm that equipment; that is precisely why we refuse to recommend a higher rating we cannot support with evidence. If you are unsure, ask an HVAC professional.
4. Accuracy, and your own judgement
We read what is printed on a filter in a photograph. Printing can be worn, ambiguous, or wrong, and a filter already in your system is not proof of what your system takes — which is why we ask whether it fits. Check the size against your own filter and your own equipment before buying. The Service is provided as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for a purchase you make on a merchant's site.
5. Merchants and commissions
Buying options come from a merchant through the AWIN affiliate network, and we may earn a commission on a purchase — though not every product, merchant, or link has this relationship. Compensation never determines which products we recommend or how we rank them: the specification is decided before any merchant is consulted, and if no merchant sells it we tell you so rather than offering a substitute. The link we show you is the merchant's own, with one short reference of ours added so we can tell which recommendation led to a sale. Nothing about you travels in it.
This section is about products sold by merchants. The one service we sell directly is the Milo Second Look in section 11, and no commission is involved in it.
6. Text messaging with your Home Companion
If you choose to connect a mobile number, you can exchange text messages with your JungleXchange Home Companion about your own home. Messages are sent by JungleXchange (operated by ORDERJUNGLE LLC). Taking part is entirely voluntary: the Service works without it, and you can use everything else without giving us a number.
- What we send. Service and conversational messages only — replies to messages you send us, the welcome message when you connect, and account verification codes. This is not consent to marketing, and we do not send marketing texts.
- How you join. You enter your mobile number, tick the consent box beside the exact wording shown there, and type back a one-time code we text you. We record the wording you agreed to and when. Nothing is sent before that.
- Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for messages; your mobile carrier may.
- Stopping and help. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts (CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END and QUIT also work), HELP for help, or START to resume. STOP takes effect on our side when we receive it.
- Your number. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and your text-messaging opt-in and consent are not shared with any third party. Our Privacy Policy describes what we do with your number, your messages and any photographs you send.
- Help with the messaging programme. Reply HELP to any message, or write to jorgel@orderjungle.net. A person reads it.
Messages are carried by a messaging provider on our behalf, and delivery depends on your carrier and your handset — we cannot guarantee that any particular message arrives. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Acceptable use
Use the Service for your own filter decisions. Do not attempt to extract our data in bulk, interfere with it, or use it to build a competing dataset. Invitations are for the person they were sent to.
8. Changes
The Service is early and changes often. If these Terms change materially we will change the date at the top of this page.

10. Honest limitations
This is a product document, not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by an attorney. JungleXchange is operated by ORDERJUNGLE LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.
11. Optional paid services
Most of JungleXchange is free. We also offer optional paid services, and today there is exactly one: the Milo Second Look.
What it is. You send us one HVAC replacement quote that a contractor gave you. We read it, check it against the air-conditioning equipment recorded in your My Home profile, and tell you what the quote does and does not establish — including specific questions worth asking your contractor before you approve it. One quote per purchase.
Price. $29.00 (US dollars), charged once. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no automatic renewal. The price is shown to you before you pay, and we will not charge you an amount you have not been shown.
What you need before you can buy one. We can only sell a Second Look when your My Home profile already records your current air conditioner's size. That is the fact that lets us compare a replacement quote against what you already have; without it a paid review would tell you little that our free check does not. If your profile is missing it, we will say so rather than sell you the review.
Who you are paying. The Service is operated by ORDERJUNGLE LLC, which is the seller and merchant of record for this charge. “JUNGLEXCHANGE” is what appears on your card statement.
How payment is handled. Payment is processed by Stripe, which acts only as our payment processor. Stripe does not provide the Milo Second Look or any other part of the JungleXchange service, and is not responsible for it. We never receive or store your card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
When you are charged. Your card is charged $29.00 at checkout, when you pay — before you send us a document. Nothing is charged again after that, whatever happens next.
What your purchase entitles you to, and when it is used up. Your $29.00 buys one completed Second Look, and your purchase is used up only when a Second Look is actually delivered to you. If we cannot read or complete your Second Look from a document, your purchase is not used and you can try again at no additional cost, for up to five total attempts. Those five are attempts at the one Second Look you bought, not five separate reviews.
If we ultimately cannot deliver your Second Look, we refund you in full. If we have tried and cannot produce a review from what you sent — so you have paid $29.00 and received nothing — you are entitled to a full $29.00 refund to your original payment method. You do not need to ask or explain anything: we treat an undeliverable Second Look as a refund we owe you. If you would rather keep the purchase and try again later, tell us and we will leave it in place. We initiate the refund after confirming that we could not complete your Second Look. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund. Write to jorgel@orderjungle.net with any question about a refund.
7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with your Milo Second Look, email us within 7 calendar days of your purchase and ask for a refund, and we will refund the full $29.00 to the original payment method. You do not have to explain why. Write to jorgel@orderjungle.net and include the email address you used at checkout.
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
What a Second Look is not. It is not an inspection, a diagnosis, a load calculation, a safety or code assessment, a permit or warranty determination, or professional advice. We do not visit your home or examine your equipment, we are not licensed contractors or engineers, and we do not assess or rate contractors. We do not tell you whether a price is fair, high or low, and we do not guarantee any contractor's pricing. We do not tell you what size system your home needs — that is a Manual J calculation a qualified professional performs on site. A Second Look is information to help you decide. The decision, and any contract you sign, remain yours, and it is not a substitute for qualified professional judgement. Sections 3 and 4 apply to it in full.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, where ORDERJUNGLE LLC is organized. Nothing here removes any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the place where you live.
